These two resources are your foundation for success with Quant App

🔐 Important: Your Ethereum Private Key

This is a self-hosted app. You'll download it and it connects to Hyperliquid through your Ethereum private key.

Where do I get my private key?

This is your Ethereum wallet private key - NOT something from Hyperliquid's website. You won't find this in Hyperliquid settings anywhere.

You get this from whatever Ethereum wallet you use (MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet, etc). Every wallet has a way to export your private key - look for "Private Key", "Export Key", or "Account Details" in your wallet's settings.

Example (MetaMask): Click your account → Account Details → Show Private Key. Other wallets will have similar functionality.

We never touch your funds. We never host your keys. Nothing is sent to our servers. There is no server connection sending any of your data back and forth. It's all secure and safe on your machine only.

DO NOT save your private key on iCloud, Google Drive, or any cloud system.

This is extremely sensitive. Don't share it with anybody. Don't put it anywhere online. Put it directly into the Quant App, where it stays safe and secure on your machine only.

💡 Best Practice: Use a Dedicated Trading Account

You don't want to use your main account for this or anything you download from the internet. Keep your private keys safe.

One of the safest things you can do is create a new Hyperliquid account specifically for this app. Start with a small amount you're comfortable with.

This way, even in the worst case scenario, your main funds remain completely separate and protected.

Reminder: You need your Ethereum wallet private key

This is your private key from MetaMask, Rabby, or whatever Ethereum wallet you use. It's simpler than you think - just export your private key from your wallet.

Do NOT use the API section on Hyperliquid (app.hyperliquid.xyz/api). Those API wallets are something else entirely. There are no keys you need from Hyperliquid's website.

Important: This app only works with wallet-connected Hyperliquid accounts. It does NOT work with email sign-ups. If you're creating a new Hyperliquid account, make sure you connect via your wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, etc.) - not email.
